Is One As Good As Another?

I have heard the statement many times that says, "Oh, it doesn't really matter. We're all headed to the same place. We're just taking different ways to get there". This is only wishful thinking. Jesus said, "enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many, who go in by it, Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).

*When you were seeking a spouse — was one just as good as another?
*When you last had to see a doctor — was one just as good as another?
    * When he gave you a shot — was one just as good as another?
*When the pharmacist filled your prescription — was one pill as good as another?
*When you paid the cashier — was one amount as good as another?
*When your wife was in labor and you took her to the hospital — was one baby as good as another?
    * When the Realtor handed you a deed to your property — was one as good as another?
    * When the bank sends you a statement — is one as good as another?
*When you bought a vehicle — was one as good as another?
*When Christ shed His blood for His church — how can "another" be as good as it?

Let's be careful, in our willingness to be politically correct, not to say what Jesus did not say. He said, "I will build my church" (Matthew 16:18). He did not say "churches" and neither should we!

For His Cause,
Tim Woodward
